6.2Nice
the breakfast was the poorest of all hotels that visited in Portugal, even in cheeper hotels there was more choice
-
7.8Very good
The reception satff were friendly and helpful. My room was spacious and comfortable, Breakfast was adequate. The hotel was well-located for walking around the city.
the water in the bathroom was never hotter than lukewarm, and the toilet put out. a nasty smell throughout the two days I stayed in the hotel.

Staff spoke good English and had good hospitality. At first when I got in the bathroom, the smell was a little bad. But they cleaned it soon after I claimed about that. I was satisfied with my stay.
It would be better if they served better breakfast. There was not any ham, sausage, egg and salad.

9.6Perfect
This was great value for money with Dos Aliados' old world charm, lovely breakfast room and large, comfortable lounge, great for a reading break(although our room did have a couch). The walls are a bit thin but this was not a big problem. I recommend this hotel.

The worst hotel I've ever been. Impossible to imagine one who gave 3 stars to this stable. Room 105: The most ucomfortable bed (need chiropractic in the morning), the smallest bathroom (even for hobbits), closet with no handles (so you can't open), 3 inches gap under the door that will bring you new light to your sleep, full experience of Porto's night transportation, and breakfast... (only exact word is FAST - leave it and find some decent meal somewhere arround). Worst mistake ever - I've paid in advance regarding to those Photosop arranged pictures.

8.2Great
The service was prompt and professional, a welcome change after other places.A nice homely feel, attention to detail in the furnishings. Good value for money and central location.
The bathroom, and in particular the shower was tiny, literally a water closet and not recommended for anyone who is overweight. The floors creaked and the street noise was quite loud at times.

8.8Great
Good breakfast, Big room, Clean bathroom, Excellent location, Safe location

6.6Nice
Excellent location in the center of Porto with good restaurant on ground floor. Good arrangement with nearby parking garage saved countless Euros over city parking. Nevertheless, would classify this as a budget hotel with old facilities but friendly staff.
-
8.8Great
The room was cleaned well and all the staff were most friendly and helpful.
The choice at breakfast was very disappointing. I have stayed in cheaper hotels in Porto which managed to provide a better range. The rooms overlooking the square are quite noisy but the view in impressive; it depends on what your priorities are.

7.0Very good
Only worth it for the location, you are right in the center, walking distance to most interesting places. (a 5 Euro ride away from the train station too). Our room was on the top floor and was good. The staff can be a bit awkward but are helpfull.
Skip the breakfast (if thats what you can call it). Requires luck to park your car if you drive.

7.0Very good
Very well located, free wireless and breakfast faire enough .
A little bit old, furniture antique, but very clean

The hotel doesn't look like a hotel at all - it's more of a hostel with very ancient furnishing and not really clean rooms or bathrooms. The photo of the "inside" doesn't show the true look of the rooms. I wouldn't recommend it to anybody, not for this price.

9.6Perfect
The reception desk staff were extremely helpfull
The breakfast was a little too basic, we would have preferred to have had ham and fresh cheese instead of just processed cheese, otherwise everything was ok
-
7.8Very good
Location, right in the city centre. Close to all major spots.Good combination of old antique furniture in the room and well-equiped bathroom. Definitely, good value for this price.
No elevator from the ground to the first floor; old keys' system (no card keys); expensive internet.

10.0Perfect
The hotel was ideally placed for a long weekend break in Porto . Porto is very hilly and the hotel is situated on the tourist bus route which was very handy . Having the cafe / restaurant downstairs was good to have your last coffee and digestive before bed as no facilities in the room
The only down side to our stay was that it was very noisy - and that is not the fault of the hotel . We did choose to visit a big city
